Instructions
• Set the oven to 170°C. Grease and line an 8 inch cake tin or loaf pan.
• Mash the bananas in a mixing bowl.
• Add sugar, oil or melted butter, vanilla essence and milk.
• Stir in the food colour.
• Sift flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt into the bowl.
• Fold gently until the batter is smooth.
• Do not over mix.
• Pour the batter into the prepared tin.
• Bake for 30 to 35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
• Cool and serve
• Let the cake rest in the tin for 10 minutes.
• Move it to a rack to cool fully.
• Slice and serve plain or with frosting.
