For customers already using the app, nothing changes in the short term. Pickup, delivery and drop-off across Surrey and Delta continue as normal, with the same weight-based pricing and the same protection plan covering loss or damage that's always been part of the service. The company has said any Alberta expansion would be layered on top of, not instead of, its existing BC operations.

There's a candidness to how LaundryOnApp is talking about this next step that's fairly unusual for a company announcing growth plans. Rather than promising a launch date or a list of cities, the message is closer to "we're looking into it properly." Whether that caution pays off, or whether a faster-moving competitor beats them to Alberta customers first, is something only time will answer.
