Feinman & Childs Family Law Partner Lindsay H. Childs was elected Vice President of Legal Aid of Southeastern Pennsylvania (LASP).
 
Feinman & Childs Family Law Partner Lindsay H. Childs was elected Vice President of Legal Aid of Southeastern Pennsylvania (LASP), effective July 1, 2026.

The election was confirmed during LASP’s Board of Directors meeting on June 10, 2026. Ms. Childs has served on the LASP Board of Directors since 2016 and on its Finance Committee since 2025. As Vice President, she will continue her longstanding commitment to LASP’s mission of ensuring equal access to justice for vulnerable members of the community.

"Legal Aid of Southeastern Pennsylvania performs critical work helping individuals and families access legal representation and resources when they need them most," said Childs. "I am honored to serve as Vice President and look forward to supporting LASP's mission alongside its talented staff, leadership team, and fellow board members."

LASP provides free civil legal assistance to low-income and vulnerable residents throughout Bucks, Chester, Delaware, and Montgomery Counties. The organization assists clients facing a wide range of legal challenges, including family law matters, housing issues, public benefits, consumer protection concerns, and issues affecting older adults and individuals with disabilities.

Ms. Childs limits her practice to family law matters, including divorce, alimony, prenuptial agreements, spousal support, custody and child support, equitable distribution, and enforcement/modification of property settlement agreements.

She has a strong history of professional and community involvement, including serving as President of the Doris Jonas Freed American Inn of Court (2020–2021) and Chair of the Montgomery Bar Association’s Family Law Section (2022). Ms. Childs has also been recognized as a Main Line Today Top Lawyer multiple times and a Super Lawyers Rising Star for 10 consecutive years.

Her service with LASP demonstrates her continued commitment to strengthening access to legal resources and supporting organizations that serve southeastern Pennsylvania.
