Dr. Schmidt earned her veterinary degree in Chile in 2007 and subsequently relocated to the United States, where she completed an internship in internal medicine and obtained her North American veterinary license. Her clinical background spans internal medicine, reproduction, neonatology, and geriatric care, and she has treated both large and small animal patients throughout her career bringing a breadth of experience that complements the hospital's existing range of services.
Her approach to veterinary medicine centers on building meaningful, lasting relationships with both patients and their families. Dr. Schmidt is committed to individualized care taking the time to understand each animal's unique needs and providing treatment plans that reflect both clinical expertise and genuine compassion.
